The Art of Yoga

One Breath at a time

Yoga is a philosophy.

Posing is only one part of yoga.
By making your mind flexible and light, your body will naturally become light as well. And vice versa.

My yoga story

You’re so welcome here, friend.

My exploration with yoga began over a decade ago when I stumbled into my first class. Something shifted on the mat, and each session opened my mind a little more, turning yoga into a path of self-exploration and discovery. Every fall, faceplant, and struggle became the building blocks for the support system yoga now provides for my mental and emotional well-being.

Since completing my first teacher training in 2023 in India, I’ve been honoured to share this transformative practice, passing along the wisdom I’ve received from my mentors and integrated into my life. Healthy movement is spread across as many joints in the body as possible and correct muscle activation in each posture is key for healthy movement.

In my classes, I hold space for you to let go of self-judgment and expectations. Yoga is a practice that offers us the incredible opportunity to learn, grow, and let go. Honouring the body’s limitations while moving into greater strength and flexibility is key—expanding the mind and respecting the body is at the core of the practice.

My hunger for learning is endless. As long as I’m breathing, I’ll keep growing, evolving, and helping others do the same. Every time I step onto the mat, I learn something new, and I am sure you will too. If you feel called to work with me, lets explore together.

Questions & Answers

  • Hi, I’m Kirsty, and I consider myself a global citizen. Born in Scotland, my journey has taken me across the world, shaping who I am today.

I began my professional journey in London’s vibrant creative industry, spending many years navigating fast-paced environments. My background includes classical training as an actor, model and extensive experience in the fashion industry.

In my younger years, I pursued a medical degree, driven by a passion for helping others. However, personal challenges—including abusive relationships and physical and emotional trauma—led me down a different path, leaving me feeling profoundly disconnected from my true self.

These experiences became a catalyst for deep healing and self-discovery. Determined to rebuild, I explored various healing modalities that ultimately led me to India. Over two transformative years, I immersed myself in authentic teachings and completed over 500 hours of yoga training.

I gladly gave it all up when I found my calling as a yoga teacher. This life-changing journey continues to inspire my growth and shape my professional work, empowering others to find purpose, alignment, and inner peace.

  • I’m here to create a safe, nurturing space for you to connect with your inner teacher through the lens of yoga. My approach helps you explore and harmonise the different dimensions of your being—physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

When these elements align, we unlock freedom, growth, and self-expression, allowing us to thrive. My mission is to empower you to access your full potential and walk your unique path toward healing and transformation.

  • We are all beautifully unique, and so is the way we learn.

I’ve always been fascinated by anatomy, movement, and the human experience. Beneath the professional labels, I am a playful, determined, and loving individual who thrives in nature (especially by the sea!), loves traveling the world, and cherishes grounding moments at home with loved ones.

Physical movement is my passion, but it hasn’t come without challenges. I’ve faced a medial meniscal tear, ankle surgeries, and a hip arthroscopy—none of which were related to my yoga practice, but each has been a humbling teacher. These experiences deepened my understanding of yoga and inspired me to pursue further holistic training, enriching both my personal practice and my teaching.

  • My teachings blend the wisdom of yoga’s spiritual traditions with modern knowledge of alignment, anatomical precision, key muscle activation, and injury management.

Whether you’re looking to build strength, find balance, or reconnect with yourself, I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way.

  • In my pursuit of both personal and professional growth, I’ve completed a variety of specialised trainings. My qualifications include:

    • 200Hr Hatha, Vinyasa
